Bianca Brown, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Speech Language Pathologist
Bianca Brown is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience providing evidence-based evaluation and treatment to pediatric and adult populations across private practice, school-based, and medical settings. She earned her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Iona University and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. Bianca holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA and is a New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
Bianca specializes in the evaluation and treatment of Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD/APD), providing individualized therapy to strengthen listening, auditory memory, speech-in-noise perception, phonological processing, and language skills. By using an evidence-based approach combined with direct auditory training, practical compensatory strategies, and collaboration with families and educators, Bianca helps patients become more confident listeners and more successful learners at home, in the classroom, and in the workplace.
She has extensive experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, including both verbal and nonverbal individuals with complex communication needs. Bianca utilizes evidence-based interventions, including AAC, visual supports, naturalistic language strategies, and play-based therapy, to promote meaningful communication. Her treatment focuses on developing functional communication, receptive and expressive language, social interaction, joint attention, play skills, self-advocacy, and independence across everyday environments. She designs individualized, strengths-based therapy plans that are engaging, motivating, and tailored to each patient’s unique communication profile and learning style.
In addition, Bianca is an LSVT LOUD® Certified Clinician and an Interactive Metronome® Certified Clinician, with experience treating individuals with Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, aphasia, cognitive-communication disorders, hearing loss, and memory impairments.
